On January 19, 2008 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) the Springfield Soccer Club will host the 2nd Annual Midwest Indoor College Showcase for Boys & Girls (Juniors & Seniors). This event brings players from throughout Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas together to play in front of numerous college coaches.
Last year there was a tremendous response for the event and they expect the same this year. Players sign up as individuals and are placed on teams to compete in the event. An effort is made to place teammates (high school/club) on the same teams so there is a familiarity for the players on the field.
The cost is $55. See the flier for details. Registration is online. Don’t forget to print the confirmation page.

The 5th Annual Southwest All-Star Games, presented by SGFsoccer.com and Springfield Soccer Club, will be held Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the Cooper Soccer Complex.

Don’t forget that the Boys Soccer Banquet is tonight at 6:00pm in the Glendale Cafeteria. Catering will be provided by St. George’s BBQ.
Players are expected to return their clean uniform, bag, etc. at the banquet.
