The latest Southwest Region Coaches Poll has been released and the Falcons are still the top-ranked team and have widened their lead over second-ranked Kickapoo. Steve Olson has the complete poll and regional stats posted over at SGFsoccer.com along with the additional information and analysis that the Falcons Nation has come to love.

I have a hard time deciding between Falcon Nation and Falcons Nation. If you study the Atlanta Falcons website, they always use Falcons.
After sorting through a lot of blog entries, here is what I found:
October 5, 2004
Varsity defeated Kickapoo, 3-1.
JV defeated Kickapoo, 2-1.
September 15, 2004
Varsity defeated Kickapoo, 3-0.
JV defeated Kickapoo, 4-0.
September 30, 2003
Varsity defeated Kickapoo, 1-0 (1OT).
JV defeated Kickapoo, 2-0.
September 4, 2003
Varsity lost to Kickapoo, 0-1.
JV tied Kickapoo, 1-1.
November 9, 2002 (Districts)
After 4OT, Glendale defeated Kickapoo on penalty kicks, 4-2.
October 3, 2002
Varsity defeated Kickapoo, 4-2
JV defeated Kickapoo, 3-1
Falcons Nation? ooh, that rocks. So here’s a question for the seniors on the team – how many games have you played against Kickapoo (JV and Varsity) since the Fall 2002 when you came to Glendale? What is the JV record in that period against Kickapoo? What is the Varsity record in that period against Kickapoo? For the Varsity, what is the record during regular season?
I remember Fall 2002 Districts going to PK’s (the video is on my site and Bob can link to it if he wants) while 2003 it was Joplin over Kickapoo and Parkview wasn’t it? Last year you switched Districts so it was Rolla that got to face Kickapoo (ouch). Who’s got the 411?
