Help Our Soldiers & Iraqi Youths

Wanted
Used (or new) soccer balls and soccer equipment for Iraq.

Captain Alex Fyfe of the US Army requests that soccer goods be sent to him to distribute to Iraqi youths. When not in Iraq, Captain Fyfe is a youth soccer coach in the USA. His story has appeared in the New York Times.

What is Needed?
Soccer balls, shin guards, shoes/cleats, soccer socks, ball pumps, uniforms, etc.

Donation bins will be located at Lake Country Soccerdome and the Lake Country concessions stands from May 14 – May 23. The donations will be shipped on May 24.

Cash donations are welcome and will be used to buy soccer balls, etc. Checks should be made payable to “Lake Country Soccer Association”. In the memo field, please write “Iraq Youth Soccer Donation”.

Help With State Cup

As many of you know the State Cup for soccer is coming to Lake Country June 11-16. There are over 200 teams and 300 games that week. Help is needed with t-shirt sales, concessions, parking, check-in on Friday and Satuday, and marshalling. Help can be from players, parents, grandparents, and siblings.
