In case you have not figured it out (or heard), the new web design was an April Fool’s Day hoax. A lot of people fell for it hook, line, and sinker.
No money was spent to redesign the site. I spent about fifteen minutes looking for an appropriately ugly brown or yellow free WordPress theme that didn’t look too wonky when installed.
The Glendale Falcons theme has been restored.

Champion Photo scanned a copy of the order form so that you can see the packages. The girls should bring a check tomorrow and they will still need to get an envelope tonight or tomorrow, but this will help you place an order.

Tomorrow (Wednesday, April 2) is Picture Day. JV pictures are 4:00pm. Varsity pictures are at 4:30pm.
Bring all of your uniforms.
Picture forms will be distributed at tonight’s match against Joplin. JV players can get the form tonight or get one at the photo session tomorrow. The most popular package is $18.

No Fooling….
Due to field conditions and a schedule change, unfortunately there will be no JV match tonight vs. Joplin.
The Varsity will play Joplin at 6:30pm on Cooper 2; immediately following the Greenwood girls game. Varsity players should be at the field at 5:30pm.

Our website has had the same basic design for several years and was getting a little stale, so we decided to hire a web development firm from Southwest Springfield (Prairie Dog Interactive) to redesign the site. It was supposed to be done before the first game, but the completion date slipped.
The design is not exactly what we had in mind. However, we already spent all of the money allocated to the project, so we will need to live with it until we can can allocate additional funds and hire a new web developer.
If you are reading this message by email or RSS, make certain to visit glendalesoccer.com to see the new design.
