Opfer is Team’s Leader, Enforcer

Today’s News-Leader has a story about Senior Lorin Opfer and the Falcons’ quarterfinal match with the Incarnate Word Red Knights.

The Falcons Nation tailgate begins at noon; kickoff is at 2:00.

Admission is $6.00.

A bring-your-own lunch tailgate party is being planned to help celebrate the Falcons quarterfinal appearance. Be there to help us welcome the team as they arrive and help create a festive atmosphere before the girls take the pitch.

State Quarterfinal Travel Information

The Falcons (20-5) will travel to the Missouri S&T campus in Rolla on Saturday, May 24 at 2:00pm to play a state quarterfinal match against the Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights (17-2-1). The Falcons will be the home team.

The bus for Rolla will depart from Glendale at 10:45am on Saturday.

Here are the directions provided by Missouri S&T to the Bullman Multi-Purpose Building:

From I-44 East (From Springfield)
Take the second Rolla exit #185. At the top of the ramp, turn right onto University Drive and proceed to the stoplight. At the stoplight, turn right onto Hwy 63/Bishop Ave. and merge into the right lane. At the next stoplight, turn right onto 10th Street.
