Coach Jeff Rogers, what a wonderful accomplishment! I have known you for many years, as a fellow coach and high school soccer referee. Throughout this time, your consistency, professionalism, and even temperament has made you one of a kind! This milestone is a testament and reflection to your commitment and dedication to Glendale Soccer, SPS Athletics, your family, and your Faith! I can’t think of a more deserving person! Bravo!

Congrats on this huge accomplishment Coach! I have had the pleasure of playing for and coaching alongside you and it’s amazing to see the impact you have left in so many kids in the Glendale family. You are the reason so many want to play for Glendale including those that have never played before. You get the best out of each kid and unite them with a common goal which is a special talent. I can’t thank you enough for everything you taught me and all the support. It’s an honor to say I have been part of a couple hundred of those wins and will cherish those memories. Congrats again Coach and the rest of the Rogers family!

Congratulations Coach,
As a nerdy little high schooler however many years ago, I was happy to identify myself one of your soccer kids. Even today I still wear a G-Men hat here and there and am more than happy to say I got to be a small part of the programs you’ve built. 1000 wins is hard to fathom. Congrats again and thanks for everything.

Coach Rogers – CONGRATULATIONS!!! It’s incredible how much you’ve accomplished on the field, but in my mind your true legacy is everything you teach us about life off the field. I am forever grateful for your magnificent influence and hope to pay it forward in my own life. You are truly an inspiration – THANK YOU and a most sincere congratulations on your latest achievement!!

Absolutely one of the best ever! I am so lucky to know you and have a relationship with you. You have been someone I can look up to and ask for advice. You are always open and willing to help. I respect you, my players respect you and the sport of soccer respects you. Selfishly, I wish you could do this forever so I can continue to learn and be around you. Thanks for all you have done and will continue to do.

Jeff-

Congratulations on an outstanding achievement. You have represented your program, your area, and the state with class in every occasion. Thank you for all you have done for the high school game, and being a role model for coaches across Missouri. 1000 wins?!?! Unreal! Continued success, and congrats again

Jeff,

What an awesome achievement! I remember when you first showed up as an assistant and later took on head coaching duties. It was obvious from the start that you were meant for developing and leading people; your “office” happened to be on the pitch.

You were the first person in my life that really motivated me, made me feel a part of something bigger than myself. I’ll never forget you showing up to practice before a district championship game in a full Kickapoo uniform or the hours spent visualizing before a game. I would have run through a brick wall for you.

Thanks for the wonderful memories, thanks for your dedication to the craft, thanks for being the coach I needed, and thanks to your family for allowing you to do all of this.

Congratulations Jeff!

This guy is one of the most selfless individuals I know. When I was a new coach in the area, Jeff (being the veteran coach) always went out of his way to help me and other new coaches. He was very approachable with the utmost character and humility. He made me feel comfortable, gave me good advice and I always felt a helluva lot better after I spoke with him. His success over the years (especially in postseason), and influence in the community is incredible to say the least. Still, one would never know about his accomplishments by talking to him. He’s too busy asking how you are doing. He was a great example for me when I began coaching because he always put his players first. You won’t find many instances of Jeff taking selfies of trophies or individually celebrating accolades. However, what you WILL see is him off to the side grinning from ear to ear watching his kids reach milestones.

Wow! Congratulations, Jeff! What an amazing example of your coaching, impact to the program and so many players over the years! Your ability to build strong teams has led to many wins on the field, but I know your impact has helped many players win in life beyond their Glendale years. Personally, I appreciated your positivity, encouragement, and that you were able to help us grow and work together as a single unit. Our biggest competitor is often ourselves and you instilled belief in us that we could win. And we did!

Through the years you have constantly gone above and beyond for the boys and girls programs. Some of my favorite memories are from soccer season at the Dale. I am so lucky to have been coached by you and I am so proud to see you hit 1000 wins!

Coach Rogers/ Papa Bear-
It seems like just yesterday that you were rushing to our practices and games from you 9-5 job without time to even change out of your business clothes and sometimes with a toddler in tow. From reading bedtime stories in seedy hotels in Sedalia, to passing out hand me down boys uniforms and wondering where all the shorts had gone, to begging Coach Stratton to let us play our senior game “on campus” in the baseball outfield – the one consistent in every memory I have of Glendale soccer has always been you and your relentless dedication to your players. Soccer in the Ozarks would not be what it is today without you and your legacy of commitment. Thank you for your years and years of caring for student athletes and making them not just better soccer players but better people.

The real win of it all is you look the exact same you did when you coached us punks in the 90s.

Thank you for all you’ve done. You’re the greatest!!
