Saturday Tournament Results

On the second day of the Kickapoo Shootout, the Falcons:

Defeated Catholic, 1-0. The goal came on a penalty kick by Kali Simpson.
Match Stats: Kali Simpson (1G).

Lost to Jackson, 2-1.
Match Stats: Megan Garrad (1G).

Coach Frierson Named Head Hornet

Congratulations to Coach Ross Frierson. He has been named the head soccer coach at Hillcrest. The Glendale Soccer program will miss Ross, but we realize that this is a great opportunity for him.

The announcement is in the last paragraph of this article in today’s News-Leader.

Falcons Fall in Opening Match

The Falcons lost 0-1 to Notre Dame de Sion in the first game of the Kickapoo Shootout. The Falcons will face Springfield Catholic tomorrow (Saturday) at 8:30am at JFK Stadium.

The Varsity defeated West Plains, 4-1.

The JV defeated West Plains, 8-1.
Match Stats: Elizabeth Ciesielski (2G), Brittney Bloom (2G), Maggie Schrier (1G/3A), Kathryn Bergmann (1G), Danielle Cleghorn (1G), Amanda Aksamit (1G).
