Former Falcons Wade Luethy and Chris Murphy will be in Springfield this weekend when their University of Central Arkansas Bears, ranked #8 in Division 2, take on the Drury Panthers on Sunday, September 4 at noon. Luethy scored the game winning goal in the final ten seconds to lead his team to victory over St. Edward’s University. This is the first of three consecutive matches Drury will play against Top 25 teams.

Cody has broken his tibia and his fibula and will be out for the season. He is in a wheelchair and pretty bummed out but plans to attend as many games as possible!

The Varsity defeated Waynesville, 5-1.

The JV defeated Waynesville, 7-0.

The schedule for the Parkview JV Tournament on September 10 has been set:

9:00am Parkview vs. Glendale
11:00am Kickapoo vs. Parkview
1:00pm Glendale vs. Kickapoo

The tournament will be a round-robin. The games will be played on Parkview’s grass field.

Today is the deadline for making hotel reservations for the varsity tournament in Quincy, IL. Tomorrow the hotel will release all of the unbooked rooms being reserved under Glendale High School Soccer. The hotel is the Hampton Inn and the phone number is 217-224-8378.
