Falcons vs. Carthage Tigers

Carthage Tigers

The Falcons will travel to Carthage on Thursday, September 8 to take on the Carthage Tigers. The JV match will begin at 5:00pm with the Varsity match to follow.

Players will be dismissed tomorrow at 2:00pm with bus departure for Carthage set for 2:30 pm.

Falcons Sink Lakers

The JV defeated Camdenton, 7-2.

The Varsity defeated Camdenton, 6-0.
Match Stats: Ben Hamilton (3G), Danny Collins (1G), Ryan Frewin (1G), Andrew Parsons (1G), Steve Wilczewski (2A), Andy Sawyer (2A), Jared Dusha (1A), Chris Watson (1A).

The Falcons will travel to Camdenton to play the Lakers on Tuesday, September 6. The JV match will begin at 5:00pm and the Varsity match will follow.

All players will be dismissed on Tuesday at 2:00pm with bus departure scheduled for 2:30pm. Driving directions are online.

Former Falcons Return to Town

Our friend Steve Olson at SGFsoccer.com sent us this tidbit…

Former Falcons Wade Luethy and Chris Murphy will be in Springfield this weekend when their University of Central Arkansas Bears, ranked #8 in Division 2, take on the Drury Panthers on Sunday, September 4 at noon. Luethy scored the game winning goal in the final ten seconds to lead his team to victory over St. Edward’s University. This is the first of three consecutive matches Drury will play against Top 25 teams.
