This is the last week of the regular season. The weather promises to make things complicated.
Monday
The Varsity will practice at 4:30pm and then proceed to the home of Jamie Bond for a pasta party.
No JV practice, but there is a pasta party immediately after school at the home of Ashlan Fiester.
Tuesday
The Falcons travel north to play the Camdenton Lakers. This game was rained out earlier in the season. The JV will kickoff at 5:00pm with the Varsity match to follow. Players will be dismissed at 1:40pm. The bus will depart from Glendale at 2:15pm. Driving directions are online.
Wednesday
The Falcons battle their archrivals, the Kickapoo Chiefs, at Kickapoo. The JV match begin at 5:00pm with the Varsity match to follow.
Thursday
The Falcons go west to play the Neosho Wildcats. The JV will kickoff at 5:00pm with the Varsity match to follow. Players will be dismissed at 1:45 pm. The bus will depart from Glendale at 2:30pm. Driving directions are online. (If someone can write better directions to Neosho before or after the match, please do.)

In the final Statewide Coaches Poll, the Falcons are ranked 15th. Waynesville is the only other team from the region receiving votes.

The Varsity defeated the Lebanon Yellowjackets, 2-1.
Match Stats: Lindsey Sprouse (1G), Karis Hefton (1G), Jamie Bond (1A), Megan Garrad (1A).
No JV practice on Friday.
The Varsity will meet at Steak ‘n Shake at 4:00pm and then go watch film at Buddy Coulter’s office. The session should end by 5:30pm.

From Division II softball comes an article about the ultimate act of sportsmanship.
Western Oregon senior Sara Tucholsky had never hit a home run in her career. Central Washington senior Mallory Holtman was already her school’s career leader in them. But when a twist of fate and a torn knee ligament brought them face to face with each other and face to face with the end of their playing days, they combined on a home run trot that celebrated the collective human spirit far more than individual athletic achievement.
