The Falcons defeated the Lee’s Summit West Titans, 4-3, in the first round of the Kickapoo Shootout.
Match Stats: Devon Newport (2G), Patrick Baltz (1G/1A), Ryan Squires (1G), Graham Basecke (1A), Cameron Dugan (1A).
The Falcons will play the Vianney Golden Griffins in the semifinals of the Brown Division of the Kickapoo Shootout at 11:30am on Kickapoo North.
Vianney is ranked #4 in the state and #15 in the nation by ESPN. Vianney defeated Springfield Catholic, 3-2, in the opening round of the tournament.
The Falcons last met Vianney in November 2006 in the state quarterfinals. Vianney rallied to beat the Falcons, 2-1.
The JV should be at Parkview at 8:20am. The Varsity should be at Kickapoo at 10:30am.

Tonight, Devon Newport netted his 22nd goal of the season. He has now surpassed Falcons Assistant Coach Josh Keisker for the second most goals scored in a season by a Glendale boy. The record is held by Jason Price who scored 41 goals as a senior in 1990.
