The Falcons defeated the DeSmet Spartans, 2-1, in 20T.
Match Stats: Devon Newport (1G/1A), Ryan Squires (1G).
Devon Newport scores the first Glendale goal on a free kick. Ryan Squires scores the game winner in the second OT off a Devon Newport corner.
The Falcons will play the Rockhurst Hawklets on Saturday night at 7:00pm for the Class 3 championship.
This is the first time that St. Louis has not been represented in the soccer championship game in the state’s largest classification.

Over at SGFsoccer, CBC Coach Terry Michler has a preview of the four teams (Glendale, DeSmet, Rockhurst, & McCluer North) playing in the Class 3 Final Four.
Dan Lucy from KOLR 10 visited practice yesterday and filmed a report that should air this evening.
We previously mentioned that Prepcasts.com will live stream the Glendale vs. DeSmet match on Friday. It has also been anounced that the MSHSAA Internet Network will live stream the Class 3 championship match. The broadcast begins at 6:45pm with kickoff schedule for 7:00pm.
Don’t forget tonight’s reception in the Glendale cafeteria at 6:00pm.

Players will be wearing their Final Four t-shirts to school.
All players will meet Devon & Ryan at the track at 3:30pm for some running and stretching.
Tuesday
Practice at 4:00pm.
Wednesday
