Statewide Coaches Poll 4-10-2009

The first statewide coaches poll has been released. No team from Southwest Missouri is ranked, but the Falcons did receive votes.

On Friday, the Falcons will play Rockwood Summit which also received votes in the Class 3 poll. On Saturday, the Falcons will play Springfield Catholic which is ranked #2 in Class 1.

MSHSAA Rule Change for 2009-2010

A new MSHSAA By-Law will take effect this summer. In order to be eligible to participate in MSHSAA sponsored activities, Glendale students must pass 3.5 units of credit the previous semester they participate and be currently enrolled in 3.5 units of credit the semester of participation. The old rule required 3.0 units of credit. The new rule takes effect July, 2009, so all Glendale students returning next year, who plan on participating in any MSHSAA sponsored activities this fall, must pass 3.5 units of credit the semester we are in right now.

Falcons vs. West Plains Zizzers

The Falcons will travel to West Plains tomorrow (Tuesday, April 14) for a match with the West Plains Zizzers.

Players will be dismissed at 1:15pm. The bus will depart from Glendale at 2:00pm.

The JV match will kickoff at 5:00pm with the Varsity match to follow. Driving directions are online.

No Practice Today

Varsity and JV practice for today (Friday, April 10) has been canceled.

Both teams will practice at the regular time on Monday.

Camdenton Match Postponed

Due to the unpredictable inclement weather for this evening the girl’s soccer match with Camdenton has been rescheduled for Monday, May11 at Cooper.

Both the Varsity and JV will train on Friday at their regularly scheduled times.

Signing Ceremony Follow-up
