Statewide Class 3 Poll 4-23-2009

The latest statewide Class 3 poll has been released. The Falcons are unranked but received two votes.

How did Falcons opponents fare? Rockwood Summit is ranked 11th; Rolla received four votes, and Springfield Catholic is ranked 2nd in the Class 1 poll.

Falcons and Smith-Cotton Draw

In the first match of the Sedalia Tournament, the Falcons and Sedalia Smith-Cotton Tigers played to a 2-2 draw.

Girls Soccer Pancake Breakfast

All Families should mark their calendars. On Saturday, May 16 from 8:00-10:00am the juniors will be leading an effort to jumpstart next year’s funding by hosting an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast at Applebee’s South.

All Falcons will be expected to sign up for a shift to help. More details soon, but we wanted the news out so everyone can plan ahead.

Tournament of Champions Wristbands

Next weekend (May 1 & 2), the Falcons will be travelling to Burlington, IA to compete in the Tournament of Champions.

Admission is $5.00 per game at the gate. However, it is cheaper and faster to buy a weekend pass bracelet. The weekend passes are $12.00 for adults and $6.00 for students/children.

Judy Frewin will be selling the bracelets this weekend in Sedalia and at our games next week. Please have cash or make your check payable to Judy Frewin.

Falcons Split With Chiefs

The Varsity defeated the Kickapoo Chiefs, 4-2.
Match Stats: Lindsey Sprouse (2G/1A), Hannah Garrad (1G), Molly Brewer (1G), Emilee Williams (1A), Emily Cline (1A).

The JV lost to the Kickapoo Chiefs, 0-2.

No JV practice on Friday. The Varsity bus departs for Sedalia at 2:45pm.

Sedalia Tournament Information

The bus for Sedalia will depart from Glendale at 2:45pm.

The team will pay for dinner on Friday night. Players should bring money for lunch on Saturday if their parents will not be in attendance.
