The Falcons travel down to Christian County this evening to take on the Ozark Tigers. The JV match will kickoff at 5:00pm with the Varsity match to follow. The bus will depart from Glendale at 3:30pm and will return after the JV match.
Tonight’s match pits the top two teams in the most recent Class 3 Southwest Coaches Poll. Last year the Falcons defeated Ozark 3-0 in the regular season and 5-0 in the sectional match. The Tigers appear to have circled this match on their calendar since they will have 6 days of rest entering tonight’s match.
Ozark, which will also host the District 11 tournament, has new a synthetic surface (field turf) so rain alone will not force the match to be postponed.
Thunderstorms are in the forecast for this afternoon and this evening. If there is a cancellation before 4:30pm, it will be posted on the Web site.
