The latest statewide soccer coaches poll has been released. The Falcons received 5 votes but have fallen out of the rankings.
Ft. Zumwalt South, which defeated the Falcons this past weekend, is ranked 6th. The only other Southwest region team in the poll is the 7th ranked Jefferson City Jays.

In the final game of the Gateway City Classic, the Falcons defeated the CBC B-team, 3-0.
Match Stats: Brandon Baum (1G/1A), Roman Aldaiz (1G), Cameron Dugan (1G), Kurt Waterman (1A), Chris Maddox (1A), Patrick Baltz (1A).
No Varsity practice on Monday.
Senior Night will be held on Tuesday, October 6 when the Falcons host the Lebanon Yellowjackets.

In the second game of the Gateway City Classic, the Falcons lost to the Ft. Zumwalt South Bulldogs, 0-2.

In the first match of the Gateway City Classic, the Falcons defeated the Glenbrook North Spartans, 2-1, on penalty kicks. Goalkeeper Jordan Pitts blocked all three GBN penalty kicks and the Falcons converted all three of their attempts.

The Falcons will next play at 9:45am on Saturday against the winner of the Ft. Zumwalt South vs. Hudson (WI) match.

Thursday, October 1
The Falcons (Varsity only) travel to Camdenton to play a make-up game with the Lakers. Players will be dismissed at 1:00pm with bus departure set for 1:30pm. Kickoff is at 4:00pm. The team will be staying at the Fairfield Inn in Fairview Heights, IL.
Friday, October 2
The Falcons will open play at the Gateway City Soccer Classic against the Glenbrook North Spartans at 3:00pm on Friday, October 2. Kickoff was originally scheduled for 3:45pm. Field directions are available on the tournament Web site.
Bleacher seating is limited. You may want to take lawn chairs. Admission will be charged: $5 per session for adults and $3 per session for students. Weekend wristbands can be purchased for $10 for adults and $5 for students.
The bus will depart from Glendale at 9:00am.
