Additionally, Jordan Pitts was named Goalkeeper of the Year.

District 11 All-District Team Announced

Former Falcons Postseason Update

Several former Falcons are involved in the NCAA Men’s D1 College Cup.

Devon Newport (2009) and Ian Newport (2009) are members of the St. Louis Billikens team that will host the Missouri State Bears in the first round on Thursday, November 19 at 7:00pm. The winner will play at #8 seed Tulsa on Sunday.

Andrew Parsons (2006) is a member of the New Mexico Lobos team that will host the Portland Pilots in the first round Thursday, November 19. The winner will play at #15 seed North Carolina State on Sunday.

Graham Basecke (2009) is red-shirting this season, but his Indiana Hoosiers teammates will host the Louisville Cardinals in the first found on Thursday, November 19. The winner will play at #12 seed Butler on Sunday.

In the D3 Women’s Championship Tournament, Emily Jordan (2009) and the Concordia Cobbers (MN) have advanced to the Sweet Sixteen and will travel to warm & sunny San Antonio to take on the Lynchburg Hornets (VA) on Saturday. The winner will play the winner of the Trinity University (TX) vs. Hardin-Simmons (TX) match on Sunday for a trip to the Final Four.

The Falcons Nation has ties to Lynchburg. Former Falcon Ashley Meyer (2006) is currently attending and running cross country at Lynchburg. Rob Brewer, Missouri State Women’s Soccer Coach and father of current Falcons Katie & Molly Brewer, is a Lynchburg alum.
