The News-Leader has had a couple of stories about last week’s college letter of intent signing ceremony for Lindsey Sprouse and Ashley McWillams. One appeared in the High School Sports Blog and the other is in the East Community supplement.

The Drury University’s men’s soccer program will be hosting a golf tournament on May 1 at the Deer Lake Golf Course. The cost is $100 per player. For more information, see the event flier. Several Former Falcons play for the Panthers and would appreciate your support.

Big O Sports has a soccer season preview and the Falcons are the featured team. The story is on page 26 of the online edition. You may just want to cruise by McDonald’s and pick-up a free copy.

The college soccer signing ceremony will be held after school tomorrow (Wednesday, March 17) in the Glendale Library. Ashley McWilliams and Lindsey Sprouse will signing letters of intent to play for the Drury Panthers. Please join us for this celebration.

Coach Rogers and a few seniors will be on The Jock 98.7 tomorrow (Saturday) at 10:30am to discuss the upcoming season.

The final day to turn in boy’s soccer uniforms and bags is Thursday, March 18, 2010, after school in the Glendale cafeteria. After this date, the office will be notified of those students who have not returned or accounted for their items (bag, three shorts, and 5 Varsity or 2 JV jerseys).  Grade cards will be held until all equipment has been returned.
