2010 Tailgate Party

Glendale Soccer Field
Come out and meet the 2010 Varsity and Junior Varsity soccer players and coaches. There will be a short informational meeting and J&K Soccer will be present with samples and will take orders for Glendale Soccer t-shirts, hoodies, and other apparel. The teams will scrimmage after dinner. We will be serving Which Wich? box dinners. The price is $6.00 for a sandwich of your choice, chips, and a cookie. Kids meals are $4.00. Drinks will be provided.

REMINDER: Final ad book orders and payments are due at the tailgate party. All players should sell at least $400 in ads or donations. Booster Club membership forms and dues will also be collected.

Glendale Boys Soccer will host a Pancake Breakfast at Applebee’s on South Glenstone on Saturday, August 28 from 8:00-10:00am. Players will be selling tickets for $5.00. Invite your family and friends to Applebee’s for all you can eat pancakes.

The temperatures are expected to drop down to more typical August weather in the Ozarks. Thus, the practice schedule is as follows:
Freshman & Sophomores
5:00-6:45pm
Juniors & Seniors
6:00pm

On Sunday, August 8 the Falcons hosted the first Glendale Soccer Alumni game. SGFsoccer has a story and a number of photos from the event and Coach Rogers has identified all of the participants in the group photo.

Due to the excessive heat, training will be from 7:00-8:30pm for both groups until further notice.

The Boys Fall 2010 soccer season starts on Monday, August 9. Practices will be held at Glendale at the following times:
Freshman & Sophomores will train from 6:00-8:00pm
Juniors & Seniors will train from 7:00-9:00pm
Keepers will train from 6:00-7:30pm
Players should bring soccer gear, ball and running shoes.
