NCAA D1 men’s and NAIA men’s and women’s soccer will be concluding their conference tournaments this weekend. In the meantime, the NCAA D1 women and the D2 & D3 men’s and women’s championship brackets have been set and several former Falcons are still pursuing their championship dreams.

Steve Wilczewski (2006), Ben Hamilton (2006), Danny Collins (2007), and Stephen Conner (2007) are members of the Drury Panthers men’s team which is currently ranked 2nd in D2. Earlier in the week, the News-Leader had a story about the contributions of Wilczewski & Conner. The Panthers will host the Super Region IV bracket of the 32-team tournament on Friday & Saturday. The Panthers will play the Northern Kentucky Norsemen at 7:00pm on Friday at Harrison Stadium. If the Panthers win, they will play the winner of the Ashland/Lewis match on Sunday at 1:00pm. Live audio is available for these games.

Update: The News-Leader has published a story about the contribution of former Falcons as part of  Drury’s success.

Emily Jordan (2009) is a member of the Concordia Cobbers (MN) women’s team which is currently ranked 8th in D3. The Cobbers will begin play in the 63-team tournament by taking on the University of Dubuque Spartans on Saturday at 5:00pm. If the Cobbers win, they will play the Macalester/St. Scholastica winner on Sunday. Live audio and video is available for these games.

In previous postseason action, Justin Rogers (2008) and the Crowder College Roughriders were eliminated in the semifinals of the Region 16 NJCAA Division I tournament.
