Once In A LifetimeThe Missouri Film Alliance of Springfield will be hosting the “Show-Me” Missouri International Film Festival this weekend. Steve Olson of SGFsoccer.com is the current president of the Missouri Film Alliance of Springfield.

The festival includes the documentary “Once in a Lifetime: The Extraordinary Story of the New York Cosmos” which chronicles the New York Cosmos and the rise and fall of the North American Soccer League.

The film is directed by Paul Crowder. He also directed Dogtown and Z-Boys. Crowder’s wife, Kelly H’Doubler, is a Glendale graduate.

“Once in a Lifetime” will be shown at 7:00pm on Saturday, February 24 at the Gillioz Theatre. A large turnout from the Springfield soccer community is expected. Tickets are $7.50; $5.50 for students and can be purchased at the Gillioz in advance or before the show.
