Susan Meyer received a call from Rachel’s mom.
Rachel’s surgery went well and she is currently in recovery. Outlook is very positive. Please keep Rachel in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

An entry from yesterday (Thursday) on the Kickapoo site indicates that Rachel is doing well and hopeful about attending Saturday’s game.
My apologies for not mentioning Coach Rogers and his assistants. You have done well as role models for these young ladies. Thank you!
We cannot thank all of you parents and players enough for the prayers, support, ecouragement and love you have shown us. You all are amazing!
This morning Rachel got to put the head of her bed up–she was flat in bed all last night. And she got to eat a popcicle! She is looking forward to a smoothie maybe later today. Looks like out of ICU either late today or tomorrow.
