Soccer Tourney Might Be Too Big For Quincy

The Quincy Soccer Classic may be getting to big for Quincy. There is talk of moving the tournament to St. Louis or Chicago. The girl’s equivalent, the Tournament of Champions, is already played at a large soccer complex in Burlington, IA.

Falcons Win Kickapoo Shootout

An ebullient Coach Rogers would like everyone to know that Phil Hodge from Kickapoo called to confirm that the Falcons, with 24 points, are the Kickapoo Shootout Champions. Pembroke Hill, with 22 points, took second place.

Columbia Hotel Reservation Update

Falcons Defeat Eureka

The Falcons Varsity defeated the Eureka Wildcats, 2-0.
Match Stats: Devon Newport (1G/1A), Justin Rogers (1G), Patrick McCarthy (1A).

The victory should make the Falcons the winners of the Kickapoo Shootout with 24 points. Pembroke Hill plays Poplar Bluff at 4:00pm. Even with maximum points, Pembroke Hill can only amass 22 points. If we hear anything official, we’ll let you know.

Both the Varsity and JV will practice on Monday at their regular time.

The Falcons Varsity defeated the Liberty Blue Jays, 1-0.
Match Stats: Devon Newport (1G).

The Falcons will be in for a battle this afternoon when they face the Eureka Wildcats at 2:00pm.
